Leviticus 23:15

Have you ever heard of the Jewish holiday of Lag Ba’Omer? If not, that is OK!

Lag Ba’Omer is a festival celebrating the counting of the Omer- commanded in Leviticus 23:15.

The Omer is a period of 49 days between the Biblical festivals of Passover and Shavuot. On the 33rd day, we celebrate Lag Ba’Omer.

This 60 second video will explain why we count, why we celebrate, and why we light bonfires!
