What did Daniel do in the Bible?
Daniel was a Jewish youth who was taken captive from Jerusalem by Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon. He became a servant to the kings of Babylon until King Cyrus of Persia Babylon. Though he served the Babylonian kings loyally, Daniel remained faithful to the God of Israel. Daniel famously survived being thrown into a lions’ den, saved by God for being His loyal servant.
